Just like EA’s Apex Legends Season mode, Valorant also has its version called Acts. The player with the highest wins out of seven rounds wins the match. Putting their own nuance in the classic game mode, Riot Games has added the facet of choosing an Agent before the beginning of each round. The Search and Destroy mode can be played either in a ranked or unranked manner. If a player dies in a round, they have to wait until the next round to respawn. Before the match begins, players are given 30 seconds to choose their arsenal. If a team wins 13 rounds out of 25, then they win the entire match. There are 25 rounds in a single match, and each round lasts for 100 seconds. If an entire squad is killed before the bomb detonates, then the other team wins. One of the teams has to plant and detonate a Spike, while the other team tries to avoid this from happening. The basic game mode, called Search and Destroy, has two teams pitted against each other. The game takes various fundamentals from other games in the genre such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Overwatch.
